Requesting a medical record
Former Baptist Hospital Northeast patients can access a form to request their medical record by mail.
Personal medication record
Use this form to help track your medications and to communicate with your physicians or hospital staff any medications you are taking.
C.A.R.E. cards
Recognize a Baptist Northeast employee, volunteer or physician for an outstanding job with a C.A.R.E. Card, a part of our customer service initiative.
Chaplains/Pastoral Care
Illness and crisis are deeply spiritual experiences. We care about the thoughts, feelings, questions, meanings and deeper significance of hospitalization for patients and their families. Please call for a chaplain at (502) 222-3340 if your family is having trouble with the illness, family relationships, or any aspect of the care at Baptist Hospital Northeast. Local clergy members are also welcome and encouraged to visit patients while they are in the hospital.
Cots
Cots are available for family members who wish to stay overnight with a patient. Ask the patient's nurse to make the arrangements.
eCards
Let a patient know you're thinking about him or her while he or she is in the hospital by sending an electronic greeting. eCards are delivered free of charge once a day on weekdays (excluding holidays).
Firearms
Firearms are not allowed in the hospital, unless a law enforcement officer is guarding a prisoner or performing other official duties.
Gift Shop
Located off the hospital's main lobby, the Gift Shop is staffed by Baptist Hospital Northeast volunteers. Items available in the Gift Shop include magazines, flowers and toiletries. The Gift Shop is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. For more information, call (502) 222-5306.
Mail and flowers
Mail is delivered to patients once a day, Monday through Friday, by hospital volunteers. Mail received for a patient after discharge will be forwarded to the patient's home. Please address mail as follows:

Smoking
Baptist Hospital Northeast recognizes the health risks associated with active and passive smoke and has a responsibility to its patients, visitors, medical staff and employees to provide a healthy environment. Therefore, smoking is not permitted anywhere on the hospital campus, including the medical office buildings and parking lots.

Telephones
Family members and friends may call the hospital operator at (502) 222-5388 to get the direct telephone number to a patient's room. Calls to patient rooms are not accepted between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. to make sure our patients get adequate rest. (Note that residents of The Transitional Care Unit may receive calls at any time.) All patients may make outgoing calls at any hour.
Visiting hours
Having visitors can help the patient's recovery process. However, rest is also an important part of the patient's convalescence. Visiting hours for relatives and friends are 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Any visitors spending the night should register for a visitor's pass in the registration area. Special visiting policies have been established for certain units.

Wireless Internet access
The Baptist Hospital Northeast Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) Network allows users to connect wirelessly throughout the hospital.
